Specification Department Vacancies

Vectaire is a market leader in the supply of high quality domestic, commercial and industrial ventilation equipment, and due to aggressive growth targets has opportunities in its Specification Department for those looking to build a career in a varied, challenging and supportive environment.

As part of a dedicated internal estimating team, emphasis is on working with the field sales force to maximise sales opportunities by supplying efficient and accurate quotations. The day-to-day role includes evaluating enquiries; designing domestic and commercial duct layout schemes; producing accurate quotations and 'project managing' the re-quote process to order; and offer technical support to colleagues and customers (who include house builders, architects, building services consultants, end users and contractors).

These vacancies would suit someone from a Building Services/HVAC estimation/technical role or a (field) engineer wishing to progress a career in a commercial environment. Applicants need to be flexible, accurate and organised, with the ability to work to a deadline. It is anticipated that successful applicants will have an ONC or higher (although relevant experience will be considered). AutoCAD experience is desirable along with familiarity with Building Regulations relating to ventilation. General computer literacy is essential.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
